Pratima Kramer speaks about her sculptural artworks, 10th December at 5pm (via teams)

Pratima Kramer is a sculptural artists whos work is informed by her Indian Heritage. In this collaboration with Hindu Society she will be discussing her career as an artist, her time in the Gujarat and her craftsmanship. Drawing on Indian culture, its sensibilities and the vibrant aesthetics, her work celebrates both Western and Indian crafts. Her work features elephants, an important symbol of the Hindu deity Ganesh and as a tribute to the beautiful animals. Furthermore, her figure work aims to capture the buzzing atmosphere of India and the essence of people and place.
